Altercation with passenger gets bus driver terminated

A Washington Metro Transit bus driver was involved in an altercation with a passenger that ultimately resulted in his termination on Dec. 4. After the passenger allegedly spat on him, the driver explained to police that he simply "lost it."

Washington shop owner accused of trading drugs for iPods

The owner of a well-known repair shop in northwest Washington has been charged with a drug crime, according to police. Reports say the Bellingham man, a Macintosh and iPod computer technician, was arrested on suspicion of accepting Apple products in exchange for cocaine. During the past month, the 36-year-old shop owner traded small amounts of cocaine to an undercover detective, according to a Bellingham police sergeant.

Shooting in Spokane lead to assault charges

Reports say 29-year-old shotgun-wielding man allegedly fired four shots at two other men in Washington. The alleged shooting took place in back of the Red Lion Tavern located at 2 E. Main Avenue in Spokane sometime around 6 p.m. According to witnesses, two men fled in a car as the 29-year-old man fired at the vehicle. Police soon responded to the scene.

Washington man taken into custody during cocaine drug bust

One of the three teenagers who allegedly killed a man in 2008 has been taken into custody during a drug bust. Police say that the man, who is now 20-years-old, was seen selling drugs on the night of Dec. 1 in City Hall Park. Reports say that the man had been out of prison for less than two months when the arrest was made. He had been incarcerated for an unlawful gun possession conviction since Dec. 11, 2012.
